How to use your scores

The lowest score is your first edit, not a reason to redesign the page.

Work through the results in the order a visitor reads: headline first, then the match with whatever sent them here, then the formatting that carries the eye down the page.

Start with the headline

The four headline scores cover the value proposition, the goal, the offer, and the benefit. A low score in any of them usually means one fix: say what the visitor gets, in the words they would use, before asking for anything. Rewrite the headline and subheadline, then run the analysis again.

Check message match

Message match compares the page with the promise that earned the click. If it scores low, line the headline up with your ad or search result so the page feels like the next sentence of the same conversation. Choosing whether to iterate on the ad or the page comes down to which side of that match is weaker.

Fix formatting last

Short paragraphs, bullet points, numbered lists, and white space are same-day edits that ask nothing of your offer. Do them after the words are right: formatting makes a clear message easier to scan, but it cannot rescue a vague one.

Questions

The score is an editing checklist, not a verdict on your page.

Is the analysis really free?

Yes. Enter a URL and the scores appear on this page, usually within a minute. There is no email gate: nothing to sign up for and no report held back.

What does the tool read?

It fetches the page and scores the copy only: the headline, subheadline, message match, reading level, urgency, tone, phrasing, and four formatting checks. It does not judge your design, page speed, or tracking; our Tracking Stack Detector covers the measurement side.

How should I use a low score?

Treat the lowest areas as your editing list, in reading order: headline, then message match, then formatting. The scores are an AI reading of the copy, so confirm any change with real traffic rather than editing until every bar is a 10.
